Wincey was the Head of Investigation and Compliance of the independent regulator of the accounting profession Hong Kong during the period Oct 2019 – Jun 2023 and was its Deputy Chief Executive Officer (including Acting CEO during Mar-Sept 2019) during the period Dec 2013 – Sept 2019. 

Prior to joining the independent regulator, Wincey was a Partner in the Department of Professional Practice of a Big Four international accounting firm in Hong Kong during the period Sept 1998 – Nov 2013 and was an audit manager in that firm during the period Jan 1995 – Oct 1998.
